Scott Stephens, journalist, author, editor and television and radio presenter will be our guest speaker with a talk entitled ‘Moral Encounters in the Novels of Jane Austen’. Scott has spoken at international conferences about issues on theology, aesthetics and education. He is the editor of the ABC’s Religion and Ethics Website and has published widely on moral philosophy and theology. We look forward to his analysis of the many moral and ethical encounters Austen presents in her novels.

If you are able to assist with setting up the chairs in the hall your help would be appreciated. Please arrive slightly early to assist if you can. Afternoon tea will be provided and contributions are most welcome.
