The Jane Austen Society of Australia Brisbane is a Brisbane based literary society that meets regularly throughout the year to discuss the life of Jane Austen, her works, influences and the history of the Regency Period.

We are associated with the Jane Austen Society of Australia in Sydney, but operate as a separate group financially and with our membership.

At JASA Brisbane, our yearly program regularly includes Australian and overseas scholars and speakers. We aim to give our members a deeper understanding and appreciation of Austen’s works.

Our meetings are informative and fun. We would love you to join us and share our interest in all things relating to the literature and era of Jane Austen.
