Our last meeting for 2025 will be on Saturday 1 November at 1pm. The meeting will be at our usual venue at St Columb’s, 23 Victoria Street, Clayfield.

Please join us for a conversation with Lewis Treston, co-writer of Queensland Theatre’s 2025 production of ‘Pride & Prejudice’. We are delighted to welcome Lewis to hear his insights into the collaborative processes necessary to energise and bring such a beloved story to modern audiences. Bring your questions! This section of the meeting will be conversation style and we are sure our members will have plenty to ask Lewis about the production.

We of course will have a variety of other entertainments which will take on a Regency Christmas theme as well as our usual afternoon tea. Contributions to afternoon tea are most welcome.
